The Sting property on Breestraat will be transformed into a mixed-use location with retail and fitness facilities. <br\/><br\/>On the ground floor, Coolblue will open a new store of approximately 800 m\u00b2. With this move, Coolblue will relocate from its current location on Breestraat to a larger and more efficient space. The new store is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2026. <br\/><br\/>With this development, the former Sting building marks the first concrete realization within the large-scale redevelopment of the listed V&amp;D complex between Breestraat and Aalmarkt. On behalf of owner CCap, NEOO, in collaboration with Mulderblauw Architects and the Municipality of Leiden, is developing a future-proof mixed-use destination where people can shop, work, exercise, dine, and stay. Sustainability, reuse, and respect for the building\u2019s heritage are central to the project.
