This week, NEOO welcomed 25 students from BOSS – Management in the Built Environment | TU Delft to the rooftop bar of AIR in the heart of Rotterdam. Following a presentation about NEOO and its Rotterdam projects, AIR Offices Rotterdam and RottaNova, the group was given a tour of AIR, offering a deeper insight into the sustainable transformation of the former V&D department store into a mixed-use building.
Following this, we engaged the students in an interactive case study, introducing them to the world of complex inner-city redevelopments. To conclude the program, we visited the nearby construction site of RottaNova – a multifunctional building featuring 259 residential units, hospitality and retail spaces, and a public bicycle parking facility. We wrapped up the afternoon with an informal networking drink.
