The immensely popular all-you-can-eat hotpot concept Don Don Shabu has chosen AIR Rotterdam as their new location! After their huge success in Chinatown The Hague, this culinary destination will open its doors after the summer of 2025 on Westewagenstraat in our sustainably redeveloped former V&D building.
The arrival of Don Don Shabu reinforces the impressive transformation of Westewagenstraat into a vibrant mixed-use corridor. With on one side the Haavn project by Leyten and van Maren with five hospitality venues and student housing, and on the AIR side the public bicycle parking, offices of Unilever and now Don Don Shabu, among others, the street will become a vibrant destination. The upcoming greening by the municipality will complete this urban renewal.
